There are 2 Cruise Ship Port Terminals in Mykonos

1) Tourlos Port by docking – Tourlos Port (also known as New Port) has a Cruise Ship Dock. Its located about 1.5 km/1 mile north of Mykonos town in Tourlos, very close to AgiosStefanos beach. Your Cruise Line might provide you with a shuttle bus service to take you from your Cruise Port to Mykonos Town Harbor (also known as Old Port) which is located at the north end of Mykonos Town. You can walk into town from Tourlos Port but the road is narrow and without sidewalks. There is a sea-bus service operating between the Tourlos Cruise Port and Mykonos Town which leaves frequently and costs 2 € per person/one way.
2) Mykonos Town by tenders– Some Cruise Ships anchor at sea and passengers are taken to Mykonos Town by tender, disembarking right by the Town Hall and Delos Ferries Pier.

Touring Mykonos on your own and what to do in a day:

• Take a stroll through Mykonos Town – If you are arriving in Mykonos by Cruise Ship, we highly recommend you visit the quaint and beautiful Mykonos Town. Its white-washed buildings and labyrinth-like narrow streets are very photographic and sure to leave a lasting impression.
While in Mykonos Town, find your way to a few of its top attractions: Windmills, Little Venice and Paraportiani church. All these attractions are not far from each other, which leaves you time for either shopping or relaxing with a traditional “Ouzo with Mezze” by the sea.
There are no vehicles allowed in Mykonos Town, so have in mind that it is all walking on an uneven surface.

• Go to a beach – Mykonos is very famous for its beaches and actually has some of the best beaches in Greece, especially on the south shore.
Beaches for couples and families: PlatisYialos, Ornos, Saint Stefanos
Beaches with watersports: Psarou, Platis Yialos, Kalafatis, Super Paradise.
Party beaches: Paradise, Super Paradise, Paranga.
Up market beach: Psarou.

Most of the beaches in Mykonos feature a variety of traditional taverns and nice restaurants, some even have tables and chairs placed on the beach sand.
Mykonos Town’s water-front is a great place to relax and have a meal at anyone of a dozen café-restaurants. Little Venice area is also known for good restaurants with its sea view looking west toward the sunsets. The price range in his area may be slightly more than average.
